Prasanna serves PEaCE/ECPAT Sri Lanka as the accountant. He has started his career in the field of accountancy and finance by engaging himself as an audit trainee at a firm of Chartered Accountants in late 1983. Hence, he possess almost 40 years of experience in the field of Accountancy and Finance with extensive experience in the INGO/NGO sector.

Further, he has held positions in leading conglomerates in Sri Lanka such as Aitken Spence & a leading humanitarian organisation such as the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society. He possesses a licentiate level qualification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and is also a pass finalist of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT Sri Lanka).
