Priyadharshini Sivarajah, a 47-year-old Sri Lankan Tamil, is a seasoned freelance journalist and digital safety trainer with over 20 years of experience in the field of journalism. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Philosophy, and Tamil Language from Kandy Peradeniya University and has pursued additional diplomas in Journalism, Computer Applications, and English Language.

Priyadharshini's professional journey includes roles as a Digital Safety Trainer, Freelance Journalist for various platforms such as Bakamoonoo.lk, Catamaram web, and Aruvi News.com, and as a Content Creator for Ratify ILO Convention 190 (Violence-free workplace) with the Centre for Equality and Justice. Notably, she served as the Features Editor for SARINIHAR NEWSPAPER from 1995 to 2001 and later worked as a Journalist at VIRAKESARI NEWSPAPER, specializing in Political, Human Rights, and Women's Issues as well as Parliament Correspondence from 2001 to 2006.

Priyadharshini's dedication to gender issues is evident through her work as a Journalist covering Gender Issues in 'Irukkiram' Magazine published by Ego Publishing House in 2008. Additionally, she served as a District Observer for Transparency International Sri Lanka in the Program for the Protection of Public Resources (PPPR) during the 2019 Presidential Election and the 2020 August Parliament Election.

Her professional achievements include participating in the SLFT/FOJO/SIDA Investigative Reporting in India in 2003, the Tamil Ini 2000 Conference in Chennai, India in 2000, and the Regional Conference on 'Gender and Media' in Nepal in 2004 by SAFMA. Priyadharshini has also been part of training programs such as FES/SLFI for Empowering Women to Take the Political Leadership Role in 1999 and SLPI/IFJ Train the Trainer Workshop on Doing Ethics. She attended the Freedom of Information and Mass Media workshop organized by the World Bank Institute in Colombo in 2005.
