Achini joined PEaCE in August 2021 as an information officer. She graduated from University of Sri Jayewardenepura with a BA in Social statistics and is currently reading for her Post Graduate Diploma in International Relations at Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies. She had worked in the private sector for three years and volunteered for various events and youth organizations. She has experience working with children through volunteering in Poland and Italy as a teacher in primary and middle schools respectively and through her work as an online tutor for British Primary schools.
