Tina Jayaratnam

Tina Jayaratnam has 25+ years’ work experience in Sri Lanka, the USA, Australia and the Maldives working with the corporate sector, INGOs and government, providing senior consultancy and international program management services in a wide range of sectors.

She worked in program management as an international development specialist during post-tsunami, conflict and post-conflict eras, working on USAID and UN-FAO development programs encompassing whole of project life cycle services, from formulating proposals, identifying funding opportunities, through to project design, implementation and handover. As a Senior Business Analyst and Management Consultant she worked in business development for small to medium-sized companies, entrepreneurs and large corporates in Sri Lanka, the USA and Australia in areas of corporate planning, business restructuring, strategy development and financial management. Tina pursued her graduate and post-graduate studies in the USA. She has had continuous involvement in social volunteerism and advocacy work overseas, and particularly had a longtime personal interest to work on protecting children from on-line sexual abuse in Sri Lanka. She has a keen interest in documentary photography and filming, and would ideally like to pursue this in supporting the fight against on-line sexual abuse of children.
